Society of Yukon Artists of Native Ancestry Scholarship Fund

Award Amount: $1,000.00 annually
Criteria:
  • Yukon grade 12 graduate or post-secondary student of native ancestry;
  • Must be enrolled and accepted into a fine arts program (visual, literary or performing);
  • Normally a resident of the Yukon.

Documents Req:
  • Official grade 12 transcript and/or a university transcript;
  • Proof of enrolment and acceptance into a post-secondary institution for the school year in which the scholarship is intended;
  • A personal letter indicating artistic interest and future artistic goals;
  • For grade 12 students, a letter of recommendation from art teacher.
Deadline Date: December 31st
In the event of a non-completed semester, the unused portion of the award will be returned to the Society of Yukon Artists of Native Ancestry and that student will forfeit his/her right to the scholarship thereafter.
