Yukon Energy Scholarship Program - General Component

Award Amount:

$4,000 (2,000 per year for 2 consecutive years), 2 scholarships awarded annually
|

Criteria:
|
-
Canadian citizen or Yukon First Nation beneficiary who has been a Yukon resident for at least 12 months;
-
Full time post-secondary studies at an accredited institution in Canada or Alaska leading to a diploma or under-graduate degree in the sciences, engineering, technologies, business administration, commerce or economics or related areas;
-
Studies must commence within six months of receiving the scholarship;
-
Acceptable academic performance must be maintained.

Description of citizenship activities (i.e. school or community involvement, volunteer and extra curricular activities, work history, awards, important personal experiences)

June 30th. If deadline falls on a weekend, applications must be postmarked or received by 4:30 pm previous business day.
