Consultations in preparation for the 14th session of the Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD)
Foreign Affairs Canada will be conducting public consultations with provincial representatives, civil society, private sector and aboriginal groups in preparation for the 14th Session of the Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD), being held in New York from May 1-12. Consultations will take place on the basis of the Canadian Paper, the United Nations Secretary General's reports available at http://www.un.org/esa/sustdev/documents/docs_csd14.htm).

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada welcomes comments on the proposed commitments to support its fourth Sustainable Development Strategy, Agenda 2009.
Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT) has prepared a draft of proposed commitments to support its fourth Sustainable Development Strategy, Agenda 2009 for consultation and comments.
As required under the Auditor General Act, DFAIT is currently developing its fourth Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS) that will be tabled in Parliament in a coordinated approach with other federal departments and agencies in December 2006.
