• The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) logos are official trademarks of NSERC.

• Except as stated in this policy, the NSERC logo may not be used by any external organization without permission from NSERC. This permission will specify the terms and limitations of usage.

• The NSERC logo may only be used with specified guidelines and standards, please refer to the NSERC logo Guidelines and Standards document once you have agreed to the terms and limitations of usage.

• The NSERC logo may not be altered in any manner, including proportions, colours and elements (including animate, morph, etc.) that will distort its original appearance.

• No wording or graphics may appear near the NSERC logo in such a way as to imply NSERC endorsement or approval of any kind.

• The NSERC logo may not be used in a manner which displays NSERC in a negative or disparaging manner.

• The NSERC logo may not be used to misrepresent an individual or group’s relationship with NSERC.

• The NSERC logo may not be used to present false or misleading impressions about NSERC or its services.

• Notification of usage must be sent to NSERC, including details of use such as the URLs of Web pages and publication dates. An e-mail to NSERC’s Communications Division is deemed to be sufficient notice for this purpose.

• NSERC retains all rights, title, goodwill, and interest in and to the logos.

• Use of the NSERC logo in any way not explicitly allowed by this policy, or not approved as usage outside these guidelines, will be considered a violation of NSERC's trademark rights and be acted upon accordingly.
