CRYSTAL Pilot Program Competition Results
,

NSERC is pleased to announce the results of the first Centres for Research in Youth, Science Teaching and Learning (CRYSTAL) competition.

NSERC received 41 Letters of Intent from interested applicants in response to the 2004 competition call. Of these, 16 were selected to submit full proposals, based on input from external referees as well as considerations of geographic and thematic distribution. Five applications were selected for funding of up to $200,000 per year for five years. One centre was also awarded $30,000 per year for the additional role of overall national networking and leadership.
