2004 Undergraduate Student Research Awards Competition Results,

The results of NSERC's 2004 Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) competition follow. The lists are not indexed, so your search is dependent on the searching capabilities of your Web browser.

The list indicates the names of students who held an NSERC USRA in 2004-2005, which covers the academic sessions of May to August 2004, September to December 2004, and January to April 2005.

Since NSERC must adhere to the provisions of the Privacy Act regarding personal information, only basic award information is provided: name of successful candidate, university and department awarding the degree, area of proposed research, and location of tenure.

The results of NSERC's 2004 Undergraduate Student Research Awards shows successful applicants in alphabetical order by award type:

  • USRA-I: $4,500 from NSERC available to undergraduate students in the natural sciences or engineering to enable them to conduct research for up to 16 weeks at an eligible Canadian company.

  • USRA-U: $4,500 from NSERC available to undergraduate students in the natural sciences or engineering to enable them to conduct research for up to 16 weeks at an eligible Canadian university.
