Grants Information Sessions

On request by university officials, NSERC holds information sessions each year for the benefit of university researchers and administrators. New faculty members and those submitting a grant application are advised to attend.

In 2006, the sessions will take place from September 11 to September 29. If your institution requests a session, the details will appear in our 2006 Grants Information Sessions Schedule. If you would like a session at your institution but find the above dates inconvenient, NSERC will accept your request to schedule a session at a different time of the year. To request an information session, please use the form linked under Related Information below.

These half-day sessions will cover:

• the preparation and submission of Discovery Grant applications;
• NSERC policies and regulations that pertain to grants;
• the peer review process;
• changes to programs; and
• the on-line application process.
