Review our Current Academic Positions

We invite all qualified applicants to consider joining our faculty. From these pages you can find out not only about the academic positions available at U of T, but also about research opportunities, faculty relocation and support services, and faculty housing. You can discover the enormous scope of Canada's largest University and find out more about the great city in which we are located.

Over the next several years, there will be a substantial renewal of our faculty. In keeping with our commitment to diversity, we especially welcome new faculty who are visible minority group members, women, Aboriginal persons, persons with disabilities, members of sexual minority groups, and others whose backgrounds will contribute to further diversification of ideas.

Recently, the Government of Canada changed its policy regarding the recruitment and hiring of foreign academics. As a result, U of T is currently actively recruiting candidates from around the world. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
