Writing Resources for Faculty and TAs

Fair-Use Policy

Any university instructor who expects students to learn a subject by writing about it, and who assesses learning through written assignments, has taken on some of the functions of a writing instructor. As well, a number of faculty members specialize in writing as a subject in itself, teaching it both in the classroom and through individual tutoring.

These files give advice drawn from the experience of successful University of Toronto faculty members in various disciplines. They also list further readings and Internet resources, chosen for their practicality and relevance to U. of T. conditions.
