- 43 new products and processes were developed, 26 patents were granted, 26 patents pending and 4 disclosed. Other intellectual property developed includes simulation software modules, design specifications and operating parameters.
- Numerous scientific papers in refereed Journals and conference proceedings.
Collaborative Research:
- NRC-IMTI concluded technology licensing agreements with Canadian companies on advanced manufacturing technologies such as laser micro-
- processing and freeform fabrication systems, production planning and design-training simulators.
- Over 100 research projects were conducted with Canadian and international collaborators and other NRC Institutes and government departments.
