Thank you for visiting the new website of Innovations at U of T (IUT), formerly known as the Innovations Foundation.

At IUT, we bring together researchers and businesses to capitalize on the ideas developed at the University of Toronto and the hospitals affiliated with the university, where more than $2 million worth of research is conducted daily.  The IUT team advances promising projects in key areas of expertise: Physical Sciences & Engineering, Life Sciences and Information Technology.

IUT’s reach is even more powerful through our partnership with BioDiscovery Toronto  and the MaRS Discovery District, where providers of cutting-edge research, start-up companies and knowledge-based networks are working on projects in biotechnology, drug development, information technology and advanced materials.
