Profile: Adrian Brett, 4th year, Bachelor of Arts, Psychology
Adrian is the Local Trick or Eat Coordinator this year. Trick or Eat puts a new spin on Halloween as costumed university students canvass their neighborhoods collecting food for local food banks. At the same time, students raise awareness about local hunger and allow their neighbors to get involved in addressing hunger. Trick or Eat is a yearly tradition for Carleton students. In 2005, almost 100 students participated in Trick or Eat, raising $2,400 worth of food for the Ottawa Food Bank and the Carleton Food Centre. This year Adrian hopes to see the same community spirit from Carleton students. If you're interested in coming out to Trick or Eat this Halloween, or if you'd just like more information, see the Trick or Eat Web site. More>>
