Welcome to Carleton University -- Graduate Studies and Research

Welcome to Graduate Studies at Carleton University.

Carleton is a university of approximately 18,000 students, of whom 2,500 are registered in graduate programs. The University offers about 50 programs at the master's level and 23 at the doctoral level.

Founded in 1942, Carleton has the good fortune to be located in Ottawa, Canada's national capital, which is one of the most beautiful cities in North America, with outstanding cultural and recreational facilities.

Carleton has four teaching faculties: Arts and Social Sciences, Engineering and Design, Public Affairs and Management, and Science. All of them offer master's and doctoral programs, many of national, some of international prominence.

We invite you to apply and join our community of scholars. If you are admitted to one of our programs, you will be joining a cadre of first-class students from Canada and around the world in a modern, research-intensive and forward-thinking university.
