Registration as a Sharing Group
What is a Sharing Group?
A Sharing Group is a group of persons or companies who share
telecommunications services such as a company sharing the same lines or network
of lines, as in the case of a Centrex system.
How to register as a Sharing Group
Please send a letter requesting registration on the Sharing Group list to:
Diane Rhéaume, Secretary General, Canadian Radio-television and
Telecommunications Commission, K1A 0N2, or electronically by using our electronic form.
Include the company’s name and address, the name and title of a contact
person, contact telephone and fax numbers, as well as a contact e-mail address in
the cover letter.
How will I know I have been registered with the CRTC?
You will receive a letter by e-mail or by fax from the staff at the Commission
confirming that your letter was received. You will also be able to view your
company’s name on our
Sharing Group list
posted on our web site at www.crtc.gc.ca
under Industries at a Glance. Your name will generally be posted by the Tuesday
after your application has been processed. This confirms your registration.
What if I need to make any changes to my registration?
Please notify the Commission immediately should there be any change of
information related to your company’s name, address, the name and title of a
contact person and that person’s telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address in
the cover letter.
