Telecom Orders:2002-159 The Commission approves appendix 10A, CCS7 Transit Service, of the Interconnection Agreement between Thunder Bay Telephone and Bell Canada, filed on 11 March 2002. Reference: 8340-B2-0001/06. 2002-160 The Commission approves the application by Northwestel Inc., dated 5 March 2002, to add tariff item 310.1, Freedom World, to its Message Toll Service, Special Two-Point Services. The new residential long distance calling plan consists of the following tariff components: a monthly recurring charge per subscribing account; customer dialed station-to-station calls terminating anywhere in Canada; customer dialed station-to-station calls terminating in the United States and overseas locations; all calling card station-to-station calls to Canada, the United States and overseas that originate or terminate in Northwestel's operating area; and 25% discount on the total month's regular message toll rates after applicable time of day discounts (including the surcharge) for calling card calls in Canada, United States and overseas. Eff. date = 15.04.02. 2002-161 The Commission approves the application by TELUS Communications (Québec) Inc., dated 16 October 2001, to revise sections 3.09 - Inter-exchange distance charges, 3.10 - Rate decreases for Telpak circuits, 4.01 - Circuit leasing, and 4.02 - Terms for data transmission, of its General Tariff, including its proposal to: increase the rates for analogue interexchange private line circuits by approximately 17%; eliminate Telpak volume discounts associated with those circuits; and increase the link charge for analogue voice grade services from $30 to $60 and the service charge from $100 to $200. Reference: TN 316. Eff. date = 15.04.02. 2002-162 The Commission approves the application by the Association des Compagnies de Téléphone du Québec inc. (ACTQ), dated 21 February 2002, to modify the directory file service sales contract between an independent telephone company and a local exchange carrier, an interexchange service provider, a wireless service provider and/or an alternate operator service provider, in order to provide directory assistance service only. The modifications are as follows: paragraphs a) and b) of page 7 have been modified to reflect the word "Buyer"; and the word "triple" is replaced with "double" in item 18 on page 8. Reference: 8340-A5-0817/01. 2002-163 The Commission approves on a final basis the application by Northern Telephone Limited, dated 5 December 2000 and amended on 15 December 2000, to revise General Tariff section N900, Digital Network Services, in order to introduce a new rate band for digital network access for customers on a 5-year contract basis.The proposed monthly recurring charge is $220 per customer location and the proposed service charge is $700.
