Broadcasting Decisions:

2002-419 591991 B.C. Ltd., Amqui, Quebec. APPROVED – New French-language FM radio programming undertaking in Amqui to replace the AM station CFVM. The licence will expire 31 August 2009.

2002-420 Rogers Broadcasting Limited, Toronto, Ontario. APPROVED - New English-language radio network to broadcast the baseball games of the Toronto Blue Jays during the 2002 and 2003 seasons. The licence will expire at the end of the 2003 baseball season.

2002-421 Cariboo Central Interior Radio Inc., Prince George, British Columbia. APPROVED - New English-language FM radio programming undertaking at Prince George to replace its AM station CJCI. The licence will expire 31 August 2009.

2002-422 Assiniboine Campus-Community Radio Society Inc., Brandon, Manitoba. APPROVED - Broadcasting licence to operate a community-based English-language campus FM radio station in Brandon, Manitoba. The licence will expire 31 August 2009.

2002-423 Quebecor Media Inc., on behalf of Archambault Group Inc., Province of Quebec. APPROVED - Intracorporate reorganisation of Archambault Group Inc.

2002-424 Aéroports de Montréal, Ville Saint-Laurent, Dorval, Pointe-Claire and Lachine, Quebec. APPROVED - Extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the English- and French-language low-power FM radio station to serve Ville Saint-Laurent, Dorval, Pointe-Claire and Lachine, to 11 June 2003. APPROVED - Increase of the effective radiated power of the radio programming undertaking, from 0.5 watts to 2 watts.

2002-425 Yves Sauvé, on behalf of a company to be incorporated, Saint-Nicolas, Quebec. APPROVED - Extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the AM radio programming undertaking in Saint-Nicolas, to 29 April 2003.

2002-426 Vidéotron (Régional) ltée, Cowansville, Quebec. APPROVED - Change of the authorized service area of the cable distribution undertaking serving Cowansville, to exclude the Lac Selby area.

2002-427 1210361 Ontario Inc. and CHWO Radio Limited, Kenneth Harrigan, George Patton, Terry Patterson and Peter Gilgan, partners in AM 740 Primetime Radio, Limited Partnership, Toronto, Ontario. 2002-77 The Commission has received an application from The University of Calgary Student Radio Society, Calgary, Alberta. To amend the licence of radio station CJSW-FM. Intervention deadline: 14 January 2003.

Telecom Orders:

2002-456 The Commission approves on an interim basis an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 27 August 2002, to add General Tariff item 519, Ethernet Access Service, and item 520, OC-3 Digital Network Access (DNA) service and denies TCI's request to withdraw the Ethernet Access service from the application. Reference: TN 65. Eff. date = 10.12.02.

2002-457 The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 30 October 2002, to add Carrier Access Tariff item 215, Radio Tower Access Service. The Commission approves on an interim basis TCI's terms, conditions and rates that are currently being billed in British Columbia for Radio Tower Access service. The Commission directs that TCI's current tariffs with respect to Radio Tower Access service in Alberta, are to be made interim. Reference: TN 70. Eff. date = 10.12.02.

2002-458 The Commission approves on an interim basis an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 17 October 2002, and amended by way of Tariff Notice 72A on 23 October 2002, TN 72B dated 12 November 2002, and TN 72C dated 29 November 2002, to add TCI Carrier Access Tariff item 214, Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) Access Service. Reference: TNs 72, 72A, 72B and 72C. Eff. date = 10.12.02.

2002-459 The Commission approves an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 4 October 2002, to transfer to TCI General Tariff item 125, Not Sufficient Funds (NSF) Cheque Charge, the former TCI General Tariff item 105 and the former TELUS Communications (B.C.) Inc. General Tariff item 20. Reference: TN 67. Eff. date = 10.12.02.
