2002-404 Radio Western Inc., London, Ontario. APPROVED - Relocation of the transmitter 2.7 kilometres east of the existing site to an office tower located at One London Place; change of the frequency from 94.7 MHz (channel 234A) to 94.9 MHz (channel 235A) and increase of the effective radiated power from 3,000 watts to 3,500 watts.

2002-405 Paradise Broadcasting Corporation, Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador. APPROVED – New English-language developmental community FM radio station in Paradise, expiring 6 December 2006.

Telecom Public Notice:

2002-7 Cable modems for third-party access. The Cable High Speed Access CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee working group requested that the Commission resolve several issues regarding the use of cable modems for third-party Internet access. In this public notice, the Commission sets out its preliminary views on these unresolved issues, and initiates a proceeding inviting comments on its preliminary views and other related matters. Reference: 8638-C12-43/00 and 8643-C12-08/02.

Telecom Orders:

2002-453 The Commission approves an application by Aliant Telecom Inc., dated 11 October 2002 and amended on 18 October 2002, to add item 903, Business Voice Messaging Services, to its General Tariff in order to offer a one-month promotion. Reference: TNs 51 and 51A.

2002-454 The Commission approves the executed Transiting Agreement between TELUS Communications Inc. TCI and Futureway Communications Inc. filed by TELUS Communications Inc., on 21 October 2002. Reference: 8340-T66-0881/00.
