Broadcasting Decisions:

2002-304 Craig Broadcast Systems Inc., Winnipeg, Portage la Prairie, Brandon, Foxwarren, Melita and McCreary, Manitoba; and Craig Broadcast Alberta Inc., Calgary, Lethbridge, Edmonton and Red Deer, Alberta. APPROVED - Renewal of the broadcasting licences for television stations and transmitters in Manitoba and Alberta, of which Craig Broadcast Systems Inc. and Craig Broadcast Alberta Inc., respectively, are the licensees, expiring 31 August 2009.

2002-305 Craig Broadcast Alberta Inc., Edmonton and Red Deer, Alberta. APPROVED - Renewal of the licence for CKEM-TV and its transmitter CKEM-TV-1 expiring 31 August 2009.

2002-306 Craig Broadcast Alberta Inc., Calgary and Lethbridge, Alberta. APPROVED - Renewal of the licence for CKAL-TV and its transmitter CKAL-TV-1 expiring 31 August 2009.

2002-307 Craig Broadcast Systems Inc., Brandon, Foxwarren, Melita and McCreary, Manitoba. APPROVED - Renewal of the licence for CKX-TV and its transmitters CKX-TV-1, CKX-TV-2 and CKX-TV-3 expiring 31 August 2009.

2002-308 Craig Broadcast Systems Inc., Portage La Prairie/Winnipeg, Manitoba. APPROVED - Renewal of the licence for the television programming undertaking CHMI-TV Portage La Prairie/Winnipeg. The licence will expire 31 August 2009

2002-309 Quinte Cablevision Limited, Picton, Ontario. APPROVED - Transfer of control of the Class 2 cable distribution undertaking serving Picton.

2002-310 Westman Media Cooperative Ltd., Brandon and Dauphin, Manitoba. APPROVED - Distribution of additional signals on a discretionary digital basis on Class 1 and Class 2 cable distribution undertakings serving Brandon and Dauphin.

Telecom Orders:

2002-404 The Commission denies an application by Télébec, dated 14 June 2002, to withdraw item 2.12, Semi-Public Telephone Service from its General Tariff. Reference: TN 281.

2002-405 The Commission approves, subject to the agreed upon wording changes being made, an application by Thunder Bay Telephone, dated 20 February 2002, to revise item 7, CCS7 Signalling Interconnection, under section TB230, Wireless Access Service, of its General Tariff, in order to introduce a common channel signalling 7 transiting service. Reference: TN 99. Eff. Date = 11.10.02.

2002-406 Large Capacity Digital Network Access Service Special Tariff. The Commission extends the date established in Order 2002-334, by which TCI is to cease and desist from providing any non-forborne service in Alberta for which there is no approved tariff, to 60 calendar days from the date of this order. Reference: TCI TNs 32 and 65.

2002-407 The Commission approves an application by Northwestel, dated 3 September 2002, to introduce General Tariff item 1733, Exchange Service, in order to offer a three-month promotion for an additional individual line. Reference: TN 778.

2002-408 The Commission approves an application by Télébec, dated 5 September 2002, to revise General Tariff item 2.8.5, Télébec Centrex Service, in order to offer a two-month promotion. Reference: TN 286.
