DECISIONS:

2000-142 Affinity Radio Group Inc., Douglas Kirk et Rae Roe, NewCap Inc., Hamilton/Burlington, Ontario. APPROVED – Application by Douglas Kirk and Rae Roe, on behalf of a company to be incorporated for an English-language FM radio programming undertaking at Hamilton/Burlington, expiring 31 August 2006. DENIED - Applications by Affinity Radio Group Inc. and Newcap Inc.

2000-143 Rock 95 Broadcasting (Barrie-Orillia) Ltd. , Larche Communications (Barrie) Inc., CHUM Limited/Limitée, Barrie, Ontario. APPROVED – Application by Rock 95 Broadcasting (Barrie-Orillia) Ltd. for an English-language FM radio programming undertaking at Barrie, expiring 31 August 2006. DENIED - Competing applications by Larche Communications (Barrie) Inc. and CHUM Limited.

NOTICE:

2000-59 National Broadcast Reading Service Inc. (VoicePrint), Across Canada. This application is a request to: amend the VoicePrint licence to allow distribution of the VoicePrint service as a "Secondary Audio Program" (SAP) service; direct Class 1 and Class 2 Broadcasting Distribution Undertakings (this includes cable television, direct-to-home satellite and Multi-point Distribution System services) to distribute the VoicePrint Audio Programming Service in conjunction with the CBC Newsworld Programming Service as a SAP service; and to authorize a $0.01 per subscriber, per month rate for the carriage of the VoicePrint service to be paid to National Broadcast Reading Service Inc. on a "pass-through" basis. No mark-up would be available to Broadcasting Distribution Undertakings for carriage of this service.

2000-378 Bell TN 6419. The Commission approves on a final basis Bell's application dated 10 December 1999 to provide for a diverse EEWD (enhanced exchange wide dial) access facility to an emergency response centre to operate in the event of a national emergency.

2000-379 CityTel TN 39. The Commission approves on a final basis CityTel's application dated 10 September 1999 to replace all references to "City Link" with "CityTel Internet" and revise its CityTel Internet 15 package to CityTel Internet 30 for the same rate.

2000-380 Teleglobe TN 573. The Commission approves on a final basis Teleglobe's application dated 27 October 1999 to delete the International DAMA Service from its Tariff CRTC 9500.

2000-381 TCBC TN 4013. The Commission approves on a final basis TCBC's application dated 9 November 1999 to introduce a market trial for two new call management features, namely Advanced Call Forwarding and Do Not Disturb from 10 January 2000 to 10 January 2001.

2000-382 TCBC TN 4015. The Commission approves on a final basis TCBC's application dated 22 November 1999 to extend the Residential Additional Line Service Charge Waiver Promotion and to amend the promotion to remove a restriction.

2000-383 TCI TN 146. The Commission approves on a final basis TCI's application dated 1 October 1999 to: (a) extend the TCI Megalink Service Promotion; (b) amend the promotion eligibility criteria; and (c) delete the Condition of Service which stipulates a maximum one-time service charge waiver of $3,000 per customer.

2000-384 TCI TN 159. The Commission approves on a final basis TCI's application dated 29 October 1999 to introduce a new volume band category and related rates for large customers with more than 25,001 National Centrex Service MESSAGEMANAGER mailboxes.

2000-385 TCI TN 165. The Commission approves on a final basis TCI's application dated 22 November 1999 to extend the TCI Residential Local Exchange Service Charge Waiver Promotion and amend the promotion to remove a restriction.

2000-386 TCI TN 166. The Commission approves on a final basis TCI's application dated 22 November 1999 to extend the provision of the 200 free AirMiles and amend the TCI Additional Residential Line Promotion to remove the restriction that the additional residential exchange service line subscribed to as a result of the promotion must be an additional residence exchange service line under the same customer name.

2000-387 TCI TN 172. The Commission approves on a final basis TCI's application dated 2 December 1999 to increase certain calling features monthly rates for business customers who do not have TCI as their primary interexchange carrier (PIC) at the time of billing.
