NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:
2000-9-2 Further to its Notice of Public
Hearing CRTC 2000-9 dated 15 September 2000 relating to the Public Hearing
which will commence on 20 November 2000, at 9:00 a.m., at the
Hilton Vancouver Metrotown, 6083 McKay Avenue, Burnaby, British Columbia,
the Commission announces that since a federal election has been called to
take place on Monday, November 27, the hearing will be held from November
20 at 9:00 a.m. to the 24th inclusively and then resume on Tuesday,
November 28 at 9:00 a.m.
ORDERS:
2000-996 The Commission denies TCBC's
request to offset the monthly surcharge related to the expansion of the
Greater Vancouver local calling area with a $0.50 monthly rate reduction
because TCBC did not file cost evidence to support a reduction in the

2000-997 The Commission approves Bell
Canada's request filed on behalf of MTS Communications Inc. to
