ORDERS:
2001-298 CRTC
approves in part Bell Canada’s application to increase service charges
for channels for program transmission and broadcast-quality television channels
for occasional use. Reference: Bell Canada TN 6493.
2001-299 The
Commission denies a Part VII application filed by Mr. Chris Tucker,
of Bragg Creek, Alberta, on 26 January 2000, under sections 27 and 47 of
the Telecommunications Act requesting that the Commission instruct TELUS
Communications Inc. to amend its General Tariff for additional lines to rural
homes [i.e., the individual line service surcharge and the rural individual
line charge] such that the installation charges for an additional line are set
to be equal for both rural and non-rural (city) homeowners. Reference: 8661-T51-01/00.
2001-300 The
Commission denies RSL COM Canada Inc.’s request for an interim and
final stay of the requirement in Decision CRTC 2000-745
"Changes to the contribution mechanism", that it pay monthly
contribution based on a 4.5% revenue charge, beginning in May 2001. Reference: 8662-R7-01/01.
