2001-124 Canadian Satellite Communications Inc., Across Canada; Star Choice Television Network Incorporated, Across Canada. RENEWED - Broadcasting licences for the national satellite relay distribution undertakings noted above, from 1 March 2001 to 31 May 2001.

2001-125 Radio campus des étudiants de l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Trois-Rivières, Quebec. RENEWED - Broadcasting licence for CFOU-FM Trois-Rivières, from 1 March 2001 to 31 August 2001.

2001-126 Native Communication Inc., Thompson and Brandon, Manitoba. APPROVED – Addition of a transmitter at Brandon.

2001-127 Coast Cable Communications Ltd., Sechelt and Gibsons, British Columbia. 2001-130 Radio Ottawa Inc., Ottawa, Ontario. APPROVED – Renewal of the licence for community-based campus radio programming undertaking CHUO-FM Ottawa, from 1 March 2001 to 31 August 2007. DENIED – Decrease of the minimum level of category 2 (popular music) French-language vocal selections that CHUO-FM broadcasts from 40% to 30%.

2001-131 La Radio communautaire de Fermont inc., Fermont, Quebec. APPROVED – Renewal of the licence for Type A community radio programming undertaking CFMF-FM Fermont, from 1 March 2001 to 31 August 2007.

2001-132 CKRL-MF 89,1 inc., Québec, Quebec. APPROVED – Renewal of the licence for Type B community radio programming undertaking CKRL-FM Québec, from 1 March 2001 to 31 August 2007. APPROVED – Deletion of the condition of licence requiring that CKRL-FM broadcast at least 38% Canadian content category 2 music (Popular Music).

2001-133 CHCD Inc., Simcoe, Ontario. APPROVED – Acquisition of the assets of the radio programming undertaking CHCD-FM Simcoe from Redmond Broadcasting Inc. The licence will expire 31 August 2007.

2001-134 9091-8749 Québec inc., Sainte-Aurélie, Quebec. APPROVED – Acquisition of the assets of the cable distribution undertaking serving Sainte-Aurélie, from 2971-6214 Québec inc. The licence will expire 31 August 2007.

2001-135 Canwest Global Communications Corp., Across Canada. APPROVED –Transfer of the 1% partnership interest in Prime TV held by CanVideo Television to Prime Television Holdco Inc.

ORDERS:

2001-163 The Commission directs Microcell Connexions Inc. to ensure that information on the rates, terms and conditions of the Fido-related service is made available, upon request, in alternative format to persons who are blind. The Commission also directs all other Canadian carriers to show cause why they should not have a similar obligation to make available such information in relation to all their retail telecommunications services (wireless or wireline). Reference:  8620-S49-02/00.

2001-164 In this order, the Commission directs Bell Canada to make available, upon request, information on the rates, terms and conditions of the SimplyOne service in alternative format to persons who are blind. Reference:  8620-S49-01/00.

2001-165 The Commission approves TCI's request to establish the company's demarcation point for copper wire and related facilities in new multi-dwelling unit buildings at the main terminal room in the City of Edmonton, as stipulated in Telecom Decision CRTC 99-10. Reference:  TNs 306, 306A and 306B. Eff. date = 19.03.01.

2001-166 The Commission approves a Support Structure License Agreement between Island Telecom Inc. and K-Right Communications Limited and a Joint Planning and Operations Agreement for Interconnection for Signalling Systems 7 - CCS7 for EastLink when operating in Island Tel's territority. Reference:  8340-E17-0741/00 and 8340-E17-0742/00.

2001-167 The Commission approves an Amending Agreement to the Master Agreement for CLEC-IXC Interconnection between C1.com Inc. and AT&T Canada Corp. Reference:  8340-E17-0672/00.

2001-168 The Commission approves a Master Agreement for Interconnection between LECs for Bell Canada and C1.com Inc. Reference:  8340-E17-0750/00.
