DECISIONS:

2001-23 This proceeding arose as a result of a disagreement between the City of Vancouver (Vancouver) and Ledcor Industries Limited (Ledcor) relating to the terms and conditions under which Vancouver would grant Ledcor consent to construct a fibre optic transmission system in Vancouver. In this majority decision, the Commission is resolving the dispute between Vancouver and Ledcor. The Commission is granting permission to Ledcor to construct, maintain and operate transmission lines that Ledcor has constructed in 18 street crossings in Vancouver, and is prescribing terms and conditions related to that permission. Reference: 8690-C12-01/99.

2001-24 Rogers Broadcasting Limited, Lethbridge, Alberta. APPROVED - Relocation of transmitter, with technical parameters to be revised.

2001-25 Jeannine Dancy, doing business under the name of NOTL Info Radio, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. APPROVED – Increase of the effective radiated power for CHQI-FM Niagara-on-the-Lake from 1.3 watts to 51 watts, while keeping its assigned frequency of 90.7 MHz.

2001-26 Radio Basse-Ville, Québec, Quebec. APPROVED –Change frequency of CKIA-FM, Québec from 96.1 MHz (channel 241LP) to 88.3 MHz (channel 202A); increase in the effective radiated power from 6.8 to 350 watt and in its hours of broadcast from 98 to 110 hours per week.

2001-27 Wells Best Seniors Association, Wells, British Columbia. APPROVED - Deletion of CHAN-TV (CTV) Vancouver, CITV-TV (IND) Edmonton and CHCH-TV (IND) Hamilton.

2001-28 CJMC Radio du Golfe, Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, Les Méchins, etc., Quebec. APPROVED – Addition of transmitters at Les Méchins and La Martre and change in the frequency of the transmitter at Mont-Louis from 92.7 MHz (channel 224LP) to 103.1 MHz (channel 276LP).

2001-29 1158556 Ontario Ltd., doing business under the name of Celestial Sound, Timmins and New Liskeard, Ontario. APROVED – Addition of a transmitter at New Liskeard.

2001-30 1158556 Ontario Ltd., doing business under the name of Celestial Sound, Timmins and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. APPROVED – Addition of a transmitter at Sault Ste. Marie.
