ORDERS:
2001-569 The
Commission approves, on a final basis, Aliant Telecom's application
filed on behalf of Maritime Tel & Tel Limited to waive, from
12 March to 12 May 2001, the order processing and network
connection service charge elements for customers who switch from single
line or multi-line service to small business network service, and all
standard service charges for customers who switch from an alternate
provider of local service or reseller. Reference: MTT TNs 796 and
796A.
2001-570 The
Commission approves, on a final basis, Aliant Telecom's application
filed on behalf of NBTel, to increase from $4 to $4.50 the monthly rate
for Internet call waiting for customers who subscribe to a residential
prime pak. Reference: NBTel TN 857.
2001-571 The
Commission approves, on a final basis, Aliant Telecom's
application, filed on behalf of Maritime Tel & Tel Limited, Island
Telecom Inc., NBTel Inc. and NewTel Communications Inc., to introduce a
promotion for certain enhanced local calling features from 1 April to
