DECISIONS:

2001-294 CF Television Inc. Application No 2001-0594-1 – APPROVED - Request for an extension until 1 January 2002 of the Canwest trust arrangement authority involving CFCF-TV Montréal. 

2001-295 CKVU Sub Inc., licensee of CKVU-TV Vancouver. Application No 2001-0593-3 – APPROVED – Request for an extension until 1 January 2002 of the Canwest trust arrangement authority involving CKVU-TV Vancouver. .

2001-296 Proposed revisions to the 2000 Phase III/Split Rate Base Manual of Bell Canada. The letter will be available on the Web site today.

2001-297 Proposed revisions to the 2000 Phase III/Split Rate Base Manual of MTS Communications Inc. The letter will be available on the Web site today.

2001-298 Access Communications Co-operative Limited, Regina; Weyburn; etc., Saskatchewan. APPROVED - Licence amendment that will allow the licensee to continue channel sharing with two programming services.

NOTICE:

2001-60-1 Corrected version of Public Notice CRTC 2001-60 - CRTC seeks public input on the confidentiality provisions of Canadian carriers issued on 29 May 2001. Reference:  8665-C12-14/01 and 8665-B20-01/00.

ORDERS:

2001-434 The Commission approves, with changes, MTT's application to introduce a separate rate for provincial 9-1-1 service and a billing and collection arrangement whereby MTT will act as a billing agent on behalf of the province of Nova Scotia. Reference:  Tariff Notice 789.

2001-435 The Commission denies the application by Telesat Canada, and TMI Communications and Company Limited partnership, requesting that the Commission vary Decision 2000-745 to exempt Telesat and TMI from the revenue charge on satellite services revenues or, alternatively, to allow Telesat and TMI to receive subsidies from the national fund to offset their annual costs of providing service to the north. The Commission also denies the CBC's request for a specific exemption for satellite services provided to broadcasters in general, and the CBC in particular. Reference:  8662-T3-02/01.
