The licence will expire 31 August 2005. APPROVED - Proposal to contribute the remaining 1% required under the benefits policy to Aboriginal Voices Radio rather than directly to CTD.

2001-690 The Comedy Network Inc., across Canada. APPROVED IN PART- Addition of programming from category 7e to the permitted list of program categories set out in the condition of licence describing the nature of service provided by The Comedy Network.

2001-691 The Haliburton Broadcasting Group Inc., Parry Sound, Ontario. APPROVED - Acquisition of the assets of the radio programming undertaking CKLP-FM from Playland Broadcasting Limited. The licence will expire 31 August 2003.

2001-692 Shaw Communications Inc., or a subsidiary designated by Shaw Communications Inc., Whiteman Creek, British Columbia. APPROVED - Acquisition of the assets of the cable distribution undertaking serving Whiteman Creek, from Westside Cablevision Ltd. The licence will expire 31 August 2002.

2001-693 CTV Inc., across Canada. APPROVED - Amendment to the broadcasting licences for the Category 2 specialty television services known as CTV NewsVu, CTV Newsnet Alberta, CTV Newsnet BC and CTV News Centre Nouvelles, as set out in the decision.
