DECISIONS:

2001-597 Haliburton Broadcasting Group Inc., Sudbury, Ontario. APPROVED - Decrease of the effective radiated power for CHNO-FM Sudbury from 100,000 watts to 11,000 watts.

2001-598 Denis Benoît, on behalf of a company to be incorporated, Shawinigan, Québec. APPROVED - Broadcasting licence for a developmental French-language FM campus radio programming undertaking at Shawinigan, expiring 20 September 2005.

2001-599 Radio CJFP (1986) ltée, Rivière-du-Loup, Québec. APPROVED - Deletion of the the current condition of licence requiring that the licensee broadcast a minimum weekly level of 50% of spoken word programming.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:

2001-10-2 Further to its Notices of Public Hearing CRTC 2001-10 and 2001-10-1 dated 14 and 18 September 2001 relating to the Public Hearing which will be held on 19 November 2001, at the Mont-Royal Centre, 2200 Mansfield Street, Auditorium Room, Montréal, Quebec, the Commission announces a correction to Item #1 - Astral Média Inc.

ORDERS:

2001-717 The Commission approves TCI's request that calls originating from non-dialable toll points be rated using the traditional V & H co-ordinates methodology, based on the closest existing rate centre as determined by straight line mileage; to introduce a condition to clarify that the lowest mileage band shall be used for rating and billing of calls placed from a toll station within the same rate centre; and to make housekeeping changes. Reference: TCBC TNs 4154 and 4154A. Eff. date = 20.09.01.

2001-718 The Commission approves TCI's request to amalgamate the definitions, terms and conditions for each of its Carrier Access Tariff. TCI also proposed to clarify the wording and to add new definitions, terms and conditions that address network changes and network outages. Reference: TN 12. Eff. date = 20.09.01.

2001-721 The Commission approves, on an interim basis, TCI's request to provide an initial DS-1 access channel from a customer location outside the base rate area served by the Consort central office.Reference: TN 413. Eff. date = 20.09.01.

2001-722 The Commission approves, on an interim basis, TCI's request to provide an initial DS-1 access channel from a customer location outside the base rate area served by the Consort central office. Reference: TN 414. Eff. date = 20.09.01.

2001-723 The Commission approves, on an interim basis, TCI's request to provide an initial DS-1 access channel from a customer location outside the base rate area served by the Conklin central office. Reference: TN 415. Eff. date = 20.09.01.

2001-724 The Commission approves, on an interim basis, TCI's request to provide an initial DS-1 access channel from a customer location outside the base rate area served by the Ft. McMurray central office. Reference: TN 416. Eff. date = 20.09.01.

2001-725 The Commission approves TCI's request to terminate City Link service by the end of 2001. Reference: TCBC TN 4157. Eff. date = 31.12.01.
