Broadcasting Public Notice:
2004-45-1 Call
for comments on proposals for the addition of Fox News and NFL Network to the
lists of satellite services eligible for distribution on a digital basis. As a
first phase, the Commission will now accept comments that it receives on or
before 23 August 2004. The Commission further extends the deadline for the CCTA’s
written replies to no later than 7 September 2004.

2004-279 The
Commission approves on an interim basis, with the exception of the proposed
amendment to the item 201.2, an application by Allstream Inc., now known as
MTS Allstream Inc., dated 3 March 2004 and amended on 12 April 2004, to revise
General Tariff item 201.2, Termination of Traffic from Exchanges within ILEC
Local Calling Area as of 1 June 2002, and item 302.2, Trunk-side Access,

Commission approves the Host Remote and Direct Connect Agreement between
NorthernTel, Limited Partnership (NorthernTel) and O.N.Telcom. NorthernTel filed

2004-281 The
Commission approves the Equal Access Pool Administration Process Agreement
between NorthernTel, Limited Partnership (NorthernTel), The Corporation of the
Town of Cochrane Municipal Telephone System, O.N.Telcom and Bell Canada, filed
pursuant to Decision CRTC 2001-583, 13 September 2001. NorthernTel filed the

2004-282 The
Commission approves Amendment No. 1 to the Telecommunications Interconnection and
Settlement Agreement between O.N.Telcom and Bell Canada. O.N.Telcom filed the
