Telecom Decision:

2004-8 The Commission finds that Bell Canada provided appropriate compensation to customers that could be located who were overcharged for party-line terminal sets. The Commission also finds that Bell Canada made a reasonable effort to find overcharged customers that were not located. The Commission notes that Bell Canada must provide full refunds, with interest, to any of these customers that come forward or that the company locates in the future. Reference: 8661-P8-02/02.

Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing:

2004-1 The Commission will hold a public hearing commencing on 19 April 2004 at 9:00 a.m., at the Commission Headquarters, 1 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec, to consider the various broadcasting applications. The intervention deadline is 25 March 2004.

Telecom Orders:

2004-45 The Commission approves an application by Bell Canada, dated 4 December 2003 and amended on 6 January 2004, in order to provide digital facilities to two customers. Reference: TNs 6783 and 6783A. Eff. date = 12.02.04.

2004-46 The Commission approves an application by Bell Canada, dated 12 November 2003 and amended on 6 January 2004, to revise General Tariff item 2185, Single Number Reach, in order to add a condition which will allow customers to have a directory listing with this service at no extra charge. Reference: TNs 6780 and 6780A. Eff. date = 12.02.04.

2004-47 The Commission approves an application by Aliant Telecom Inc., dated 14 November 2003, proposing to migrate several tariff items from Island Telecom Inc.'s Supplementary Tariff, Maritime Tel & Tel Limited's Supplementary Tariff, NBTel Inc.'s General Tariff and NewTel Communications Inc.'s General Tariff to Aliant Telecom's General Tariff item 500, DMS Data Service. Reference: TN 110. Eff. date = 12.02.04.
