Quebec. APPROVED – Change of the frequency from 89.5 MHz (channel
208LP) to 93.1 MHz (channel 226LP) of the radio programming undertaking
CJRF-FM Sherbrooke (Bromptonville).
2004-187 1486781
Ontario Limited, Brantford, Ontario. APPROVED – Change of the frequency
from 99.5 MHz (channel 258LP) to 93.9 MHz (channel 230A1) and increase
the effective radiated power from 50 watts to 250 watts of the authorized
contours of the radio programming undertaking CFWC-FM Brantford.
2004-188 Complaint
by CTV Television Inc. alleging that Rogers Cable Communications Inc.
contravened section 9 of the Broadcasting Distribution Regulations. The
Commission does not find that Rogers Cable Communications Inc. has contravened
section 9 of the Broadcasting Distribution Regulations, which stipulates
that no licensee shall give an undue preference to any person, including
itself, or subject any person to an undue disadvantage. The Commission
therefore dismisses the complaint by CTV Television Inc. (.pdf)

2004-34 Ownership
applications granted approval. In this notice, the Commission publishes
a list of transfers of ownership and changes to the effective control
of broadcasting undertakings that it has authorized during the period
1 March 2004 to 30 April 2004 pursuant to its streamlined procedure.
