Telecom Decisions:

2004-74 The Commission approves Aliant Telecom Inc.'s application to increase the capital cost of its service improvement plan (SIP) to $5.73 million for unserved premises. The Commission also approves the following related matters: (a) an increase to the company's annual SIP total subsidy requirement associated with its draw-down from the National Contribution Fund; and (b) an increase to its annual SIP draw-down from its deferral account. Reference: 8638-C12-81/02.

2004-75 The Commission approves Bell Canada's application to increase the capital cost range of the company's service improvement plan to $131.9 million to $159.9 million, and to extend the period of the company's roll-out plan to 2002-2006. Reference: 8638-C12-72/02

2004-76 The Commission approves TELUS Communications Inc.'s application to increase the capital cost of its service improvement plan (SIP) to $23.5 million. The Commission also approves the following related matters: (a) an increase to the company's annual SIP total subsidy requirement associated with its draw-down from the National Contribution Fund; and (b) an annual SIP draw-down from its deferral account.

Telecom Order:

2004-381 The Commission approves on a final basis an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 30 September 2004 and amended on 12 October 2004, to revise Special Facilities Tariff item 211, Wireless Transport Network Service – Lower Mainland and Southern Vancouver Island (B.C. Only), and its associated agreements, in order to extend the contract period of an existing customer-specific arrangement. Reference: TNs 156 and 156A.
