CRTC releases report on the
broadcast distribution industry
Broadcasting Decisions:
2003-126 Canadian
Broadcasting Corporation, Saguenay and L’Anse-Saint-Jean, Quebec. APPROVED - New
transmitter in L’Anse-Saint-Jean
for the radio programming undertaking CBJ‑FM Saguenay in order to
rebroadcast the programming of its
national French-language network service La Première Chaîne.
2003-127 Radiomedia
inc., Montréal, Quebec. APPROVED – New broadcasting licence to operate a
French-language radio network originating from CKAC Montréal in order to
broadcast the National Hockey League games of the Montréal Canadiens including
the pre-season and the playoff games.
2003-165 Commission
approves an application by NorthernTel Limited Partnership, dated 18 February
2003 and amended on 24 March 2003, to delete all references to two- and
four-party line services and
to re-introduce the Service
Improvement Plan sales promotion from 30 March 2003 to 30 June 2003.

approves an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI),
dated 19 March 2003, to migrate the former TCI General Tarif item 415.4.5,
Television News Gathering Network, and the former TELUS Communications (B.C.)
Inc. General Tariff item 416-A, Occasional Use Broadcast Quality Video Service –
NewsRoute, to the TCI General Tariff item 515, Occasional Use Broadcast Quality
