Broadcasting Decisions:

2003-404 Care Radio Broadcasting Association, Fort Vermilion, Alberta. APPROVED - Change of the frequency from 92.3 MHz (channel 222LP) to 92.7 MHz (channel 224LP), for the radio programming undertaking CIAM-FM Fort Vermilion.

2003-405 Central Nova Tourist Association, Amherst, Nova Scotia. APPROVED – Renewal of the broadcasting licence for the English-language low-power FM radio programming undertaking CFNS-FM Amherst, from 1 September 2003 to 31 August 2010.

2003-406 Falcon & West Hawk Lake Chamber of Commerce, West Hawk Lake, Manitoba. APPROVED – Renewal of the broadcasting licence for the English-language FM radio programming undertaking CHWH-FM West Hawk Lake, from 1 September 2003 to 31 August 2010.

2003-407 TELUS Communications Inc., Calgary, Edmonton (including St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove and Stony Plain), etc., Alberta; Kamloops, Kelowna, etc., British Columbia. APPROVED – New terrestrial broadcasting distribution undertakings to serve various communities in Alberta and British Columbia. APPROVED – Authorization to carry a second set of 4+1 U.S. signals and all distant Canadian signals listed on the Part 3 list, so long as TELUS adheres to the requirements regarding non-simultaneous program deletion set out in section 43 of the Regulations. DENIED - Requests for exemption from the requirements of section 22 of the Regulations and the proposal to carry CISA-TV and CKAL-TV on the basic service of the undertaking to serve Medicine Hat.

2003-336 The Commission approves an application by Aliant Telecom Inc., dated 17 July 2003, to revise General Tariff item 646, Local Network Interconnection and Component Unbundling, pursuant to Provision of telecommunications services to customers in multi-dwelling units, Telecom Decision CRTC 2003-45, 30 June 2003. Reference: TN 99.  Eff. date = 20.08.03.

2003-337 The Commission approves with changes an application by Northwestel Inc., dated 24 March 2003, to revise General Tariff item 807, Centrex II Service. Reference: TN 786. Eff. date = 20.08.03.

2003-338 The Commission approves an application by Sogetel inc., dated 10 June 2003 and amended on 15 July 2003, to revise General Tariff item 1.2, Terms of Service, pursuant to Confidentiality provisions of Canadian carriers, Telecom Decision CRTC 2003-33, 30 May 2003, as amended by Telecom Decision CRTC 2003-33-1, 11 July 2003.  Reference: TNs 115 and 115A.  Eff. date = 20.08.03.

2003-339 The Commission approves an application by Le Téléphone de St Éphrem inc., dated 13 June 2003 and amended on 14 July 2003, to revise General Tariff item 1.2, Terms of Service, pursuant to Confidentiality provisions of Canadian carriers, Telecom Decision CRTC 2003-33, 30 May 2003, as amended by Telecom Decision CRTC 2003-33-1, 11 July 2003.
