Telecom Decision:
2003-85
The Commission directs Bell Canada and TELUS Communications Inc. to notify
flat rate business service customers with minimum contract period contracts,
(i) 60 days before contract expiry, that the contract may be automatically
renewed, and (ii) within 35 days following automatic renewal, that the
contract has been renewed, and that the customer may terminate the contract
without penalty within 30 days of the date of the renewal notice. Reference:

The Commission approves an application by TELUS Communications Inc., dated
12 November 2003, to reduce the provincial E9-1-1 monthly rate from $0.14
to $0.13 per access line, and from $0.07 to $0.065 per working telephone
number for wireless service providers. Reference: TN

2003-517 The Commission
approves an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 12 November
2003, to revise the former TELUS Communications Inc. (B.C.) General Tariff
item 121, Provincial 9-1-1 Service, in order to reduce the province-wide
9-1-1 monthly rate from $0.16 to $0.15 per access line, and from $0.080
to $0.075 per working telephone number for wireless service providers.

2003-518 The Commission
approves an application by TELUS Communications (Québec) Inc. (TELUS
Québec), dated 14 November 2003, in order to increase the monthly
rates of certain residential optional services in high cost serving areas
(HCSA) by $1.00, and to increase the monthly rates for residential optional
service bundles in HCSA from between $0.80 to $0.85. The Commission denies
TELUS Québec's request to retroactively apply the rates for these
services as of 22 August 2003. Reference: TN
