Broadcasting Decisions:

2003-622 Padlei Co-operative Association Limited, Arviat, Nunavut. The Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued to Padlei Co-operative Association Limited for the undertaking serving Arviat, Nunavut.

2003-623 Tetlit Service Co-operative Limited, Fort McPherson, Northwest Territories. The Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued to Tetlit Service Co-operative Limited for the undertaking serving Fort McPherson.

2003-624 Durham Radio Inc., Ajax, Ontario. APPROVED - Increase of the average effective radiated power (ERP) from 15,560 watts to 19,940 watts of the authorized contours of CJKX-FM Ajax.

2003-625 Shaw Cablesystems (SSK) Limited, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. APPROVED - Change of the authorized service area of the cable distribution undertaking serving Saskatoon.

Telecom Decisions:

2003-86 The Commission directs Bell Canada and Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom) to commence providing all customers with monthly itemized billing statements within six months of the date of this decision. The Commission denies the request of Bell Canada and Aliant Telecom to recover any costs associated with the introduction of monthly itemized billing statements. Reference: 8638-C12-60/02.

2003-87 The Commission imposes as a condition on the provision of higher-speed retail Internet service the requirement that Shaw Cablesystems G.P. provide a resale arrangement for higher-speed retail Internet service under the terms set out in this decision. Reference: 8622-C122-200307456. (.pdf)

Broadcasting Public Notice:

2003-68 Call for applications for a broadcasting licence to carry on a multi-channel subscription radio programming undertaking, across Canada. Deadlines: 16 January 2004 and 16 February 2004.

Broadcasting Notices of Public Hearing:

2003-11-1 Further to its Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2003-11 the Commission announces a correction to item # 16 (Télévision MBS Inc.).

2003-12 The Commission will hold a public hearing commencing on 1 March 2004 at 9:30 a.m., at the World Trade and Convention Centre, 1800 Argyle Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, to consider 37 applications. The intervention deadline is 5 February 2004.

Telecom Orders:

2003-519 The Commission approves an application by MTS Communications Inc., dated 14 November 2003, which proposed an increase in the monthly rate for non-contracted multiline business service of $1.45 for each Rate Band A to C and $1.65 for each Rate Band D to G, and an increase in the contracted multiline business monthly rate by $1.40, $1.15 and $0.80 respectively for 1-, 3- and 5-year contracts in each Rate Band. 2003-520 The Commission approves an application by Saskatchewan Telecommunications, dated 6 November 2003 and amended on 19 November 2003, which proposed non-material changes to several items in its General Tariff - Basic Services and Special Facilities Tariff. Reference: TNs 54 and 54A. Eff. date = 23.12.03.

2003-521 The Commission approves an application by Bell Canada, dated 18 November 2003, to revise item 1400, 9-1-1 Public Emergency Reporting Service and item 105, Local Network Interconnection and Component Unbundling, in order to reflect the recalculation of the existing monthly rates for 2004. Reference: TN 6781. Eff. date = 01.01.04.

2003-522 The Commission approves an application by MTS Communications Inc., dated 13 November 2003, to revise item 485, Province-Wide E9-1-1 Service, in order to reflect the recalculation of the existing monthly rates for 2004. Reference: TN 517. Eff. date = 01.01.04.

2003-523 The Commission approves an application by O.N.Telcom, dated 18 November 2003, to increase a number of Calling Features and Custom Calling Features. Reference: TN 102. Eff. date = 01.01.04.

2003-524 The Commission approves an application by Aliant Telecom Inc., dated 19 November 2003, in order to migrate Maritime Tel & Tel Limited General Tariff item 4450, 128 Kbps Fractional DS 1, to item 508.2, 128kbps Fractional DS 1 - Nova Scotia Only, of its General Tariff. Reference: TN 112. Eff. date = 01.01.04.

2003-525 The Commission approves the Canadian Alliance of Publicly-Owned Telecommunications Systems (CAPTS) member companies' final 2001 Network Access Tariffs (NAT). The Commission also approves CAPTS member companies' interim 2002 NAT and caps the total compensation amount for the 2002 NAT at the final 2001 approved level. CAPTS filed the application on 5 November 2003. Reference: TN 17.

2003-526 The Commission approves with changes, an application by TELUS Communications Inc., dated 10 July 2003, to revise its Special Facilities Tariff in order to introduce item 217, Customer Specific Minimum Revenue Commitment Arrangement - Specific Customer Only, proposing a bundle of tariffed and non-tariffed services. Reference: TN 97. Eff. date = 23.12.03.
