CRTC approves request to postpone 10-digit dialing for Ottawa-Gatineau

Broadcasting Decisions:

2003-26-1 Various undertakings, various locations across Canada. Correction to Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2003-26, 30 January 2003.

2003-78 SF Partners Inc. (receiver for High School Television Network Inc.), across Canada. APPROVED – Temporary management of High School Television Network Inc. by SF Partners Inc.

2003-79 Novus Communications Inc., on behalf of Novus Entertainment Inc., Vancouver, British Columbia. APPROVED – Transfer of effective control of Novus Entertainment Inc.

2003-80 United Christian Broadcasters Canada, Belleville, Ontario. APPROVED – New broadcasting licence to operate an English-language FM radio programming undertaking in Belleville, Ontario, expiring 31 August 2009.

2003-81 Radio Témiscamingue incorporée, Ville-Marie and Témiscaming, Quebec. APPROVED – Broadcasting licence to operate a French-language FM radio programming undertaking in Ville-Marie replacing the AM station CKVM., expiring 31 August 2007.

Telecom Decisions:

2003-8 The Commission approves the revised procedures for the operation of the revenue-based contribution regime. Reference: 8695-C53-01/02.

2003-9 The Commission directs Northwestel Inc. to provide telephone service to the community of Fort Fitzgerald, Alberta. Reference: 8624-S55-01/02.

2003-10 The Commission approves deferring the phase one relief date for area codes 613 and 819 from the fourth quarter of 2004 to the fourth quarter of 2006, and suspending phase two relief for area code 613 indefinitely. Reference: 8698-C12-16/01.

Telecom Orders:

2003-93 The Commission forbears from regulating an additional interexchange private line route on which competitors of TELUS Communications Inc. now provide or offer services at DS-3 or higher bandwidth. Reference: 8638-S1-01/98.

2003-94 The Commission approves an application by Aliant Telecom Inc., dated 23 January 2003, in order to reflect the Commission's modifications to the affiliate rule in Regulatory safeguards with respect to incumbent affiliates, bundling by Bell Canada and related matters, Telecom Decision CRTC 2002-76, 12 December 2002. Reference: TN 64. Eff. date: 28.02.03.

2003-95 The Commission approves an application by Bell Canada, dated 17 January 2003, in order to reflect the Commission's modifications to the affiliate rule in Regulatory safeguards with respect to incumbent affiliates, bundling by Bell Canada and related matters, Telecom Decision CRTC 2002-76, 12 December 2002. Reference: TN 6722. Eff. date: 13.03.03.

2003-96 The Commission approves an application by GT Group Telecom Services Corp. (now LondonConnect Inc.), dated 6 December 2002 and amended on 17 January 2003 and 24 January 2003, concerning the terms and conditions for the provision of interconnection services to other telecommunications service providers.
