APPROVED – Renewal of broadcasting licence for the English-language community programming network serving the Hamilton area, from 1 September 2003 to 31 August 2010. 2003-208 Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation, on behalf of a non-profit organization to be incorporated as Point Eagle Radio Inc., Kettle Point, Ontario. APPROVED – New English- and Chippewa/Ojibway-language native Type B FM radio programming undertaking in Kettle Point, Ontario, expiring 31 August 2009. 2003-209 Craig Broadcast Systems Inc., now known as Manalta Investment Company Ltd., on behalf of Craig Media Inc., Brandon, Foxwarren, Melita, McCreary and Portage La Prairie/Winnipeg, Manitoba. APPROVED – Acquisition of the assets from Craig of television stations CKX-TV Brandon and its transmitters, and CHMI-TV Portage La Prairie/Winnipeg. The licences will expire 31 August 2009. 2003-210 TELUS Entertainment Inc., Toronto, Ontario. APPROVED – New video-on-demand service to serve the CityPlace development in Toronto, expiring 31 August 2009. 2003-211 Deborah Graffmann, on behalf of a corporation to be incorporated, across Canada. APPROVED - Amendment to the condition of licence for DOGS… the dog lovers channel, a national specialty television Category 2 service, pertaining to the definition of “broadcast day”, as noted in the decision. Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing:2003-6-1 Further to its Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2003-6 dated 8 May 2003, relating to a Public Hearing which will be held on 14 July 2003 at 9:00 a.m., at the Commission Headquarters, 1 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec, the commission has decided to withdraw the item 7 from the public hearing and reschedule it at a later date.
