Today's Releases - June 17, 2003Telecom Decision:2003-38 The Commission forbears, with some conditions, from regulating single-line inside wiring services provided by Saskatchewan Telecommunications. Customers without a jack-ended demarcation device will not be required to pay for diagnostic, repair or maintenance services to their inside wiring when reporting transmission problems. Broadcasting Public Notices:2003-5-2 Further to its Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2003-5 dated 7 February 2003, the Commission announces that Item 2 – Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Newfoundland and Labrador has been withdrawn. 2003-29-1 Further to its Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2003-29 dated 10 June 2003, the Commission hereby announces that a proposed revision was inadvertently omitted from the public notice. Telecom Order:2003-248 The Commission approves an application by Prince Rupert City Telephones, dated 12 May 2003, in order to increase the hourly work charge for residential subscribers from $60.50 to $66.00, the same rate as that for business subscribers; and to introduce a service charge for additional work, in 1/2 hour increments, for both residential and business subscribers at the rate of $33.00.
