The Commission is introducing an electronic application
submission form which is located under File or Register. With this form, you will
be able to attach all application related documents to be filed with the

Due to the heavy volume of interventions received for the May 26th hearing,

Broadcasting Decision:
2003-150
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Montréal and Mont-Brun, Quebec. APPROVED –
Deletion of the CBF-2 Mont-Brun transmitter, which broadcasts the programming of
the CBC French-language radio network, La Première Chaîne.

Interconnection Steering Committee – Consensus items. The Commission approves the
following three consensus reports: (1) Updating Network Management Guidelines
(BPRE039a and NMGV2.0), dated 16 January 2003; (2) Amendments to the Canadian
Local Ordering Guidelines (C-LOG) - Partial Migrations (BPRE021b), dated 16
January 2003; (3) and Relief Planning Committee Recommendation to Implement
Temporary Special Central Office Code Assignment Practices for NPAs 613 and 819
(613/819RE04A), dated 14 February 2003. Reference: 8621-C12-01/00.
Telecom Orders:
2003-187 The
Commission approves the terms and conditions of EastLink's General Tariff,
effective the date of this order, and approves on an interim basis all of the
rates contained in the application retroactive to 1 June 2002. The company filed
the application on 28 March 2003. Reference: TN 9.
2003-188 The
Commission approves an application by La Compagnie de Téléphone Upton Inc., dated
4 April 2003, to implement technical changes to item 1.3, Use of
Customer-Provided Equipment with the Company's Facilities, of its General Tariff
pursuant to a Commission staff letter entitled New terminal attachment program
requirements, 30 December 2002. Reference: TN 32.

2003-189 The
Commission approves, subject to amendments, an application by TELUS
Communications Inc., dated 19 February 2003 and amended on 14 March 2003, to
amalgamate under its Carrier Access Tariff (CAT) item 208, Local Number
Portability – Access to Service Control Point (SCP), the former TCI CAT item 265
and TELUS Communications (B.C.) Inc. CAT item 115. The company also aligned the
rates, terms and conditions for the provision of LNP – Access to SCP service in
Alberta and British Columbia. Reference: TNs 83
