2003-580 The
Haliburton Broadcasting Group Inc., Iroquois Falls and Cochrane, Ontario.
APPROVED – Acquisition of the assets of the low-power radio stations CJWL-FM
Iroquois Falls and CHPB-FM Cochrane. The licence for CJWL-FM will expire on
31 August 2005 and the licence for CHPB-FM will expire on 31 August 2009.
2003-581
Southshore Broadcasting Inc., Leamington, Ontario. APPROVED – New low-power
primarily English-language community television station in Leamington. The
licence will expire 31 August 2010.
2003-582
Global Television Network Inc., across Canada. APPROVED – Addition of category 2b
(long-form documentary) to the to the list of program categories that may be
broadcast by the service of the national English-language Category 2 specialty
television undertaking, COOL TV (formerly known as The Jazz Channel).
Telecom Decisions:
2003-12-1
The Commission is issuing corrections to the second sentence of paragraph 54 of
Telecom Decision CRTC

2003-77 The
Commission forbears from the exercise of its powers and duties pursuant to
section 29 of the Telecommunications Act in respect of agreements or
arrangements that TELUS Communications Inc. might enter into relating to forborne
domestic toll and forborne interexchange private line services. Reference:

Telecom Order:
2003-464 The
Commission approves on a final basis an application by Société en commandite
Télébec, dated 1 October 2003, to correct the monthly business rate for Call
