Telecom Decision:
2003-68 The
Commission approves MTS Communications Inc.'s (MTS) proposed service improvement
plan (SIP) expenditures and roll out plan for 2005-2007, with some minor
changes, denies Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak's (MKO) request that the
Commission make its approval of the final three years of the SIP (2005-2007)
contingent upon completion of the community consultation, finds that the
CanTalk service would serve to improve communications and meet MKO's request
for a native language calling centre, and directs MTS to set up forthwith
an MTS Task Force headed up by a senior manager to address any MKO problems
on a going forward basis. Reference:

Broadcasting Circular:
2003-458 To
all licensees of broadcasting undertakings serving the Province of Saskatchewan.
On 8 October 2003, a Provincial Election was announced in Saskatchewan.
The election will occur on 5 November 2003.

2003-412 The Commission
approves on an interim basis, Call-Net Communications Inc.'s (CNCI's)
proposed rates which take effect 1 June 2002. The Commission also approves
CNCI's changes to the check page effective the date of this order. The
company filed the application on 16 July 2003, and amended it on 8 August

2003-413 The Commission
approves on an interim basis, Microcell Solutions Inc.'s (Microcell's)
proposed rates which take effect 1 June 2002. The Commission also approves
Microcell's application effective the date of this order. The company
filed the application on 16 July 2003, and amended it on 14 August 2003.
