Broadcasting Decisions:

2003-491 Eternacom Inc., Sudbury and North Bay, Ontario. APPROVED - Renewal of the broadcasting licence for the radio programming undertaking CJTK-FM Sudbury and its transmitter CJTK-FM-1 North Bay, from 1 December 2003 to 31 August 2007.

2003-492 Rogers Cable Inc., London North, St. Thomas, Strathroy, Tillsonburg, Woodstock, Ontario, Rogers Cablesystems Ontario Limited, London South, Ontario, Rogers Ottawa Limited/Limitée. APPROVED - Extension of the authorization to distribute CFMT too, now designated as OMNI.2, as a distant Canadian signal on the basic service of their cable systems, expiring 13 March 2004.

2003-493 CKUA Radio Foundation, Banff, Alberta. APPROVED - Change in the authorized contours of CKUA-FM-14 Banff, a transmitter for the radio programming undertaking CKUA FM Edmonton.

Telecom Decision:

2003-67 The Commission approves applications by Saskatchewan Telecommunications and TELUS Communications Inc. for proposed tariff revisions to reflect the Commission's modifications to the affiliate rule relating to affiliates of incumbent local exchange carriers in Telecom decision CRTC 2002-76, 12 December 2002. The Commission also directs Aliant Telecom Inc., Bell Canada, MTS Communications Inc., Société en commandite Télébec and TELUS Communications (Québec) Inc. to modify their tariffs to comply with Telecom Order CRTC 97-1176, 27 August 1997 within 10 days of the date of this decision. Reference: SaskTel TN 42 and TCI TN 82.

Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing:

2003-9-1 Further to its Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2003-9 dated 17 September 2003 relating to a Public Hearing which will be held on 17 November 2003 at 9:00 a.m., at the Commission Headquarters, 1 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec, the Commission announces that it will also consider an application by Shaw Communications Inc. Deadline for interventions: 2 November 2003.

Broadcasting Circular:

2003-457 To all licensees of broadcasting undertakings serving the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. On 29 September 2003, a Provincial Election was announced in Newfoundland and Labrador. The election will occur on 21 October 2003.

Telecom Orders:

2003-404 The Commission approves an application by Le Téléphone de St Éphrem inc., dated 14 August 2003, to introduce an annual charge of $15.45 for pole space rental and monthly charges of $0.24 per 36.6 metres for the use of a strand and $2.25 per 30 metres for the use of a conduit. Reference: TN 27. Eff. date: 02.10.03.

2003-405 The Commission approves Appendices 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 to the existing Schedule C of the Master Agreement for Local Interconnection between Microcell Solutions Inc. (Microcell) formerly Microcell Connexions Inc., and Bell Canada, as well as a revised page 6 to Schedule C. Microcell filed the application on 26 August 2003. Reference: 8340-M30-200311423.
