Broadcasting Decisions:

2003-454 591987 B.C. Ltd., Peterborough, Ontario. APPROVED - Decrease of the effective radiated power from 325,000 watts to 185,000 watts of the television programming undertaking CHEX-TV Peterborough, and change in the authorized contours.

2003-455 Radio communautaire intergeneration Jardin du Québec, Saint-Rémi, Québec. APPROVED - Increase of the effective radiated power from 200 watts to 250 watts of the radio programming undertaking CHOC FM Saint-Rémi, and change in the authorized contours.

2003-456 Christian Youth Centre (Kingston), doing business under the name and style of Camp IAWAH, Westport area, Ontario. APPROVED - Increase of the effective radiated power from 0.23 watts to 1.03 watts of the radio programming undertaking, for its low-power radio station near Westport.

2003-457 La Coopérative radiophonique de Toronto inc., Toronto, Ontario. APPROVED - Extension of the time limit to file a full technical submission and a contour authorization application for its new community radio station in Toronto, until 17 October 2003.

Telecom Decision:

2003-61 The Commission directs TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI) to file proposed tariff revisions allowing for an exemption from the automatic directory assistance call completion (ADACC) charge for its customers with special needs. The Commission also orders Bell Canada and Thunder Bay Telephone to show cause, within 30 days of the date of this decision, as to why they should not be required to implement an exemption for the ADACC charge under terms similar to those specified by the Commission for TCI. Reference: 8665-A73-200303040.

Telecom Order:

2003-374 The Commission approves an application by MTS Communications Inc. (MTS), dated 31 July 2003, to withdraw item 5550, Channel Discounts for Interexchange Voice Grade Facilities, as there are no customers for the service. MTS also proposed related tariff changes to items 4900, 5000, 5500 and 5700. Reference: TN 509. Eff. date : 10.09.03.
