The CRTC releases financial
results for Canadian radio.
Broadcasting Decisions :
2005-148 Astral Media Radio inc. Rimouski, Quebec. APPROVED - Increase
of the average effective radiated power from 41,300 watts to 76,000 watts,
increase of the antenna height and relocation of the transmitter of the
radio programming undertaking CIKI-FM Rimouski.
2005-149 Aliant Telecom Inc. Halifax, Nova Scotia. APPROVED - Distribution,
on a discretionary digital basis, of a second set of U.S. 4+1 signals and
any of the Canadian television signals.
2005-150 Okalakatiget Society. Nain and Happy Valley/Goose Bay, Newfoundland
and Labrador. APPROVED - Renewal of the radiocommunication distribution
undertaking serving Nain (CKOK) and Happy Valley/Goose Bay (CKHV), from
1 September 2005 to 31 August 2012.
Broadcasting Public Notice:
2005-30 Call for applications for a broadcasting licence to carry on
a radio programming undertaking to serve Grande Prairie, Alberta. Deadline:
12 July 2005.
Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing:
2005-4-1 Further to its Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2005-4
dated 7 April 2005 relating to a Public Hearing which will be held
on 6 June 2005 at 9:30 a.m., at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 6700 Fallsview
Boulevard, Niagara Falls, Ontario, the Commission announces a correction
to item 15 (My Broadcasting Corporation).
