Broadcasting Public Notices:

2005-11-1 Further to its Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2005-11 dated 3 February 2005, the Commission announces a correction to item 3 (Aboriginal Voices Radio Inc.). The intervention deadline has been extended to 20 May 2005.

2005-32 The Commission has received various broadcasting applications. Deadline for submission of interventions/comments: 20 May 2005.

Telecom Orders:

2005-143 The Commission approves an application by Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel), dated 7 January 2005, to revise the minimum monthly alternating current (AC) power charge per site from a flat-rate fee of $10.90 to a fee of $0.33 per watt, with a minimum monthly charge of $198.00 for 600 watts of AC power. Reference: TN 817. Eff. date = 15.04.05.

2005-144 The Commission approves on an interim basis an application by Bell Canada, dated 31 March 2005, to allow a competitor to provide high-speed access to their end-customers who do not subscribe to an incumbent local exchange carrier or competitive local exchange carrier primary exchange service. Reference: TN 6862. Eff. date = 15.04.05.

2005-145 The Commission approves Prince Rupert City Telephone's (CityTel) tariff revisions, subject to an amendment, as well as the 9-1-1- Public Service Reporting Agreement and the Agreement to Provide the Collection of Call Answer Levy for 9-1-1 Service. CityTel filed the application on 3 March 2005. Reference: TN 88. Eff. date = 15.04.05.

2005-146 The Commission approves on a final basis, with an amendment, an application by Bell   Canada dated 20 October 2004, Special Facilities Tariff item 736.3 relating to services provided under customer specific arrangement (CSA) contract number P3A-14. The tariff pages are to indicate that Bell Canada is to notify the customer of the CSA either on its monthly bill or by letter: at least 60 days before contract expiry, that the contract or services will be automatically renewed unless the customer indicates otherwise; within 35 days following automatic renewal, that the contract has been renewed; and that the customer may terminate the contract without penalty within 30 days of the date of the automatic renewal notice.
