2005-124 Asian Television Network International Limited, across Canada. APPROVED – New national ethnic Category 2 pay television programming undertaking to be known as ATN – Malayalam Channel One. The licence will expire 31 August 2011.

Telecom Decision:

2005-22 The Commission denies a Part VII application by Allstream Corp. and Call-Net Enterprises Inc. requesting that the Commission deny approval to the backlog of Type 2 customer-specific arrangements that were the subject of Review of Bell Canada's customer-specific arrangements filed pursuant to Telecom Decision 2002-76, Telecom Decision CRTC 2003-63, 23 September 2003, and order Bell Canada to discontinue service under these contracts. Reference: 8622-A74-200400557.

Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing:

2005-4 The Commission will hold a public hearing commencing on 6 June 2005 at 9:30 a.m., at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 6700 Fallsview Boulevard, Niagara Falls, Ontario, to consider various broadcasting applications. The deadline for submission of interventions/comments is 12 May 2005.

Telecom Orders:

2005-131 The Commission approves TELUS Communications Inc.'s (TCI's) proposal to grandfather Exchange Area Radiotelephone Service in British Columbia, and directs TCI to issue a preliminary report regarding replacement technologies in 60 days in light of the Commission's determinations in this Order. Reference: TCBC TN 4224.

2005-132 The Commission approves on a final basis the following tariff applications: Bell Canada TNs 6853 and 6854, Cochrane Telecom Services TN 49, Mornington Communications Co-operative Limited TNs 36 and 37, Prince Rupert City Telephones TN 87, Le Téléphone de St-Éphrem inc. TN 35, Le Téléphone de St-Liboire de Bagot Inc. TN 37, La Compagnie de Téléphone de St-Victor TN 33, TELUS Communications Inc. TN 542.

2005-133 The Commission approves on a final basis the following agreements: 2034156 Ontario Inc./Vidéotron Télécom Ltée, 2034156 Ontario Inc./Globility Communications Corporation, 2034156 Ontario Inc./Call-Net Communications Inc., 2034156 Ontario Inc./Bell Canada, 2034156 Ontario Inc./ExaTEL Inc., ExaTEL Inc./Vidéotron Télécom Ltée and La Compagnie de Téléphone de St-Victor/TELVIC Interurbain Inc.

2005-134 The Commission approves the withdrawal of the following tariff applications: Société en commandite Télébec TNs 302, 302A and 304, 304A. Eff. date = 07.04.05.
