Broadcasting Decision:
2005-384 Corus Radio Company. Burlington, Ontario. APPROVED - Renewal
of the commercial radio programming undertaking CJXY-FM Burlington, from
1 September 2005 to 31 August 2012.
Telecom Decision:
2005-44 The Commission forbears, with some conditions, from regulating
high capacity/digital data interexchange private line services on
those additional routes for which competitors of several incumbent local
exchange carriers now offer or provide such services at DS-3 or
greater bandwidth. Reference: 8638-S1-01/98.
Broadcasting Public Notice:
2005-78 Call for comments on a revised distribution order for the Cable
Public Affairs Channel and the exempt parliamentary programming service
and related amendments to the Exemption order for cable BDUs serving 2,000
to 6,000 subscribers. The Commission invites interested parties to file
comments on the Commission’s proposed amendments, as appended to
this notice. The Commission will accept comments that it receives on or
before 6 September 2005.
Telecom Orders:
2005-287 The Commission
approves an application by Bell Canada
to introduce a charge for diagnostic testing of a transmission channel
with customer-provided equipment attached to it, applicable when
a customer requests the testing and no fault is found on Bell Canada
's facilities. Reference: TNs 6776 and 6776A. Eff. Date = 05.08.05.
2005-288 The Commission approves on on a final basis the following tariff
applications: Bell Canada TNs 861 (NST), 6872, 6880 and 6880A,
Ontera TN 113, TELUS Communications Inc. TNs 184, 185, 552 (former

2005-289 The Commission approves on on a final basis the following tariff
applications: Amtelecom Inc. TN 57 and Northwestel Inc. TN 824.
