Broadcasting Decisions:

2005-571 MSNBC Canada Corp., Across Canada. The Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued to MSNBC for the above-mentioned undertaking.

2005-572 Multivan Broadcast Corporation (the general partner), and 650504 B.C. Ltd., Douglas M. Holtby, Geoffrey Y.W. Lau, Robert H. Lee, Joseph Segal and RCG Forex Service Corp. (the limited partners), carrying on business as Multivan Broadcast Limited Partnership, Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia. APPROVED – Extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the transmitter in Victoria until 3 December 2006.

2005-573 B.C.I.T. Radio Society, Burnaby, British Columbia. APPROVED – Extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the not-for-profit, English-language, instructional campus FM radio programming undertaking until 30 June 2006.

2005-116 Application of new distribution and linkage rules to non-Canadian third-language services authorized for distribution prior to 16 December 2004.

Broadcasting Circular:

2005-467 To all licensees of broadcasting undertakings serving Canada. The writs for the Federal general election taking place on 23 January 2006 were issued on 29 November 2005.

Telecom Order:

2005-397 The Commission denies an application by Bell Canada, dated 1 September 2005, proposing revisions to General Tariff item 7020, Bell Digital Voice, to remove the condition that customers can migrate their current telephone number, provided by any local exchange carrier, to use as a secondary telephone number for Bell Digital Voice service and vice versa. Reference: TN 6897.
