Broadcasting Decision:

2005-69 CJNE FM Radio Inc., Nipawin and Carrot River, Saskatchewan. APPROVED – Authority to acquire from Nor-Com Electronics Ltd. the assets of the radio programming undertaking CJNE-FM Nipawin and of the low-power radio programming undertaking VF2212 Carrot River, Saskatchewan as part of a corporate reorganization.

2005-67 The Commission approves an application by Aliant Telecom Inc., dated 18 January 2005, in order to revise Special Services Tariff item 5065.1, Message-Net Service, add Autoattendant pay per use options. Reference: TN 152. Eff. date = 23.02.05.

2005-68 The Commission approves on an interim basis, subject to changes, applications by NorthernTel, Limited Partnership, dated 15 October 2004, proposing revisions to its General Tariff Section N900 and proposing an Ethernet Access Agreement in order to introduce item 16, Ethernet Access, and item 17, Ethernet CO Connecting Link Arrangements; and to General Tariff Section N630, to introduce items 9 to 13, Ethernet Transport Services. Reference: TNs 211 and 212. Eff. date = 23.02.05.

2005-69 The Commission approves on an interim basis, subject to changes, applications by Société en commandite Télébec, dated 15 October 2004, in order to introduce Section 7.6, Ethernet Access; Section 7.7, Ethernet CO Connecting Link Arrangements; and Section 8.14, Ethernet Transport Services, to its General Tariff. Reference: TNs 309 and 310. Eff. date = 23.02.05.

2005-70 The Commission approves an application by North Renfrew Telephone Company Limited, dated 30 December 2004 and modified on 15 February 2005, to revise General Tariff item 7, Custom Calling Features, and item 12, Call Management Service, under section 490 to increase the rates of existing features, to revise feature descriptions and to differentiate between business and residential services. Reference: TNs 26 and 26A. Eff. date = 01.03.05.

2005-71 The Commission approves on an interim basis an application by Thunder Bay Telephone, dated 7 February 2005, to extend a promotion which allows all business and residential customers currently equipped with Touch-Tone to subscribe without service charge to Voice Mail – Personal services, from 1 March 2005 to 28 February 2006. Reference: TN 115.

2005-72 The Commission approves on an interim basis an application by La Compagnie de Téléphone de Warwick, dated 19 January 2005, to add General Tariff item 6.7, Use of Carrier Facilities, in order to introduce a support structure service based on the terms and conditions specified in Bell Canada's National Services Tariff item 901. Reference: TN 40. Eff. date = 23.02.05.

2005-73 The Commission approves an application by TELUS Communications Inc., dated 6 August 2004, to introduce Special Facilities Tariff item 220, Customer-specific Fibre Maintenance Service (Alberta only). Reference: TN 148. Eff. date = 23.02.05.

2005-74 The Commission approves the withdrawal of special facilities tariffs for optical fibre arrangements of TELUS Communications Inc. The company filed the applications on 24 July 2003 and 17 October 2003 and withdrew them on 8 October 2004. Reference: TELUS Communications (Québec) Inc. TNs 358 and 361.

2005-75 The Commission denies an application by TELUS Communications Inc., dated 4 August 2004, to grandfather its construction subsidy programs, namely Individual Line Service and Rural Individual Line Charge in Alberta and the Service Extension Program in British Columbia. Reference: TCI TN 147 and TCBC TN 4215.

2005-76 The Commission denies an application by Société en commandite Télébec, dated 25 October 2004, to allow customers subscribing to its three- and five-year Centrex service contracts for packages A, B, and C to extend their contracts by two years. Reference: TN 312.
