Broadcasting Decisions:

2005-43 OlaFarmHollywood Corporation, across Canada. APPROVED – New national, English-language specialty audio programming service. The licence will expire 31 August 2011.

2005-44 Ramanjeet S. Sivia, on behalf of a corporation to be incorporated, across Canada. APPROVED – New national ethnic Category 2 specialty programming undertaking, to be known as Virasat TV. The licence will expire 31 August 2011. [.pdf]

2005-45 CanWest Global Communications Corp. on behalf of its subsidiaries indicated in the appendices to this decision, across Canada. APPROVED – Addition of a condition of licence as mentioned in the decision.

2005-46 CHUM Limited, on its behalf and on behalf of its subsidiaries Craig Media Inc., CHUM Television Vancouver Inc. and Learning and Skills Television of Alberta Limited, across Canada. APPROVED – Addition of a condition of licence as mentioned in the decision.

Telecom Orders:

2005-45 The Commission approves an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 8 November 2004, proposing to consolidate existing tariff items pertaining to National Centrex Service in each of the four Aliant Telecom constituent companies into one consistent Aliant Telecom General Tariff item 215.2, National Centrex Service. Reference: TN 143. Eff. date = 04.02.05.

2005-46 The Commission approves an application by Aliant Telecom Inc., dated 22 December 2004, to revise General Tariff item 255, Standard Service Charges, and to make wording changes to General Tariff item 105.14.1, Terms of Service. Reference: TN 148. Eff. date = 04.02.05.

2005-47 The Commission approves on an interim basis an application by Thunder Bay Telephone, dated 24 January 2005 and amended on 28 January 2005, in order to introduce the following new call management services to its General Tariff: anonymous call rejection, selective call acceptance, and selective call rejection. Reference: TNs 113 and 113A. Eff. date = 07.02.05.
